Migraine Bucket stores the information you log — foods, trigger events, migraine attacks, daily check-ins (sleep, stress, hydration, exercise, cycle days), a nickname, email and year of birth, personal trigger scores, and your settings — locally on your device in the app's private database. We (Bondi Basics) have no server that receives this data and no ability to access it.
If you enable Health sync, the app reads sleep and menstrual-cycle data from Apple Health to fill your diary automatically. This is read-only, happens on your device, and Health data is never written back, transmitted, shared, or used for any other purpose — in line with Apple's HealthKit rules, which also prohibit its use for advertising.
If you enable pressure tracking, your approximate location is used on-device to request local barometric conditions from Apple's WeatherKit service. Apple processes that request under its own privacy terms; we never receive or store your location.
Delete the app and all of its data is permanently removed from your device. (If you use iCloud device backups, copies may exist in your own backup under your Apple ID's control.)
PDF/CSV exports you create are files you own — they leave the app only when you choose to share them (for example, with your doctor).
Migraine Bucket is a self-tracking tool built from the founder's personal experience. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider.
We'll update this page if the policy ever changes (for example, if optional cloud sync is added, it will be opt-in and this policy will say exactly what moves). Questions: privacy@migrainebucket.com.
